How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • You've signed up for the newsletter through the web form
  • You've signed up for the newsletter by contacting the office or a member of the team

We use this data for the purpose of keeping you up to date with our ministry, events and other issues of Christian concern.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • IP Address when you visit our webiste
  • Website token or session cookies when you visit our website

We use the information that you have given us in order to maintain security, authenticate who you are and track visitor statistics.

We do not share your information with third party organisations unless compelled to by law or court order.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information is your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by clicking unsubscribe in the footer of an email you receive from us or by contacting the office.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.

We keep your name, email address, IP address, time of visit for as long as you choose to keep receiving our newsletter. On your request we will then dispose your information by removing it from our database within 1 hour. You may receive a final email to confirm that your request to remove yourself from our newsletter has been processed Our server logs and backups may retain some of your information for a period of 6 months after which it is automatically deleted.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
